Permanent Makeup by Lasertrolysis of Rochester
Permanent makeup is a state-of-the-art form of cosmetic tattooing. Anyone, from young to old, who desires a soft and natural enhancement to their appearance would benefit from permanent makeup. Modern application of permanent makeup provides a safe and natural looking alternative to your daily makeup routine. Permanent Cosmetic Makeup is a process where pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, permanently. The results are permanent, waterproof color, hassle-free and always fresh!
A permanent makeup technician can provide many different procedures. The most frequently requested procedures are eyebrows, eyeliner and lip color. These procedures take between 1 – 2 hours each.
Eyebrows: Anyone who desires fullness or definition to their eyebrows will benefit from permanent eyebrows. From a few strokes to fill small areas to total brow recreation, your permanent makeup technician can give you the freedom of never using an eyebrow pencil again.
Eyeliner: From a soft, natural-looking enhancement to a more defined line… the choice is yours! Your permanent makeup technician can apply eyeliner in many styles and colors.
Lips: Lipliner or full lip color applied by your permanent makeup technician can give more definition to the lips, correct uneven lips, and add fullness to the mouth. The procedure can also prevent lipstick from bleeding and can minimize the appearance of wrinkles.
Other Options: Permanent makeup has expanded to include other cosmetic or medical applications such as:
- Camouflage scars because of injuries or surgical procedures such as face-lifts.
- Camouflage beauty marks.
- Areola restoration following breast reconstruction surgery.
- Skin repigmentation to restore or enhance areas that have lost their natural skin tones.
A permanent makeup treatment will last for years making it almost permanent. Permanent makeup works by putting a semi-permanent pigment into the skin. This is not a tattoo with a dye; but is a natural pigment so there is no adverse reaction with the skin nor is it something that the body will reject.
A permanent makeup treatment is set up in three parts:
- The consultation will allow us to examine your skin and discuss our wide variety of color possibilities. At this time, your needs and expectations will be discussed, a review of your medical history will be taken, and aftercare instructions will be given.
- Once you choose your color, you will come in for your first permanent makeup treatment. The purpose of the first treatment is to saturate the dermis with the pigment color you have chosen. Strict sanitation and sterilization guideline are followed in accordance with OSHAQ and the CDC. You will be scheduled for at least one follow-up visit to do any touch-up work and to ensure your procedure meets your expectations.
One month after the first treatment, you will come in for a touch up. After this appointment, your make up will be semi-permanent and perfect.
